So I’ve fallen off the 31 Days posting… but in all fairness, my laptop was in the shop for a week! Booo, I’ll catch up eventually.
In other news, our first-born daughter turns 7 today! I surprised her with a special breakfast (her favorite egg, cheese and bagel sandwich) and chocolate milk! When she came out of her room she said, “whhhhhhhhhaaaat do I smell?” Here’s what I wrote to her on facebook:
Really, only 3 more years until the double digits? Someone please stop time! You changed our lives forever the day you were born. What a beautiful, perfect angel you were. You were such a good baby that you spoiled your Mama… this mommy that didn’t know a thing about taking care of a newborn! I was scared to death. I thought I would break you and I thought my life was over (nothing against you) but this free-spirit, independent woman changed in a million ways the day you made me a mommy! I wouldn’t change it for the world. You are such a joy and a wonderful big sister. You are tender hearted, love Jesus, and you see the best in others. Happy 7th Birthday to our spunky and mature little girl!
