There are days… and nights… and days… and nights… that seem to drag on. The mundane. The same routine.
The dark mommy-circles under the eyes tell it all.
The whining.
The fighting.
The disobeying.
The unthankfulness.
The sickness.
The messes to pick up.
The days that seem to drag on.
The lack of adult-interaction.
The feeling that I might be missing out on, something?
But then I see their little faces, and I know… oh yes, I know, it is all worth it. I LOVE being their Mommy. I LOVE every moment, the good and the bad.
Thank you to all the Mommies out there! You are doing a wonderful job. I saw this on facebook and had to include it in a blog post:
So you ask…Do I work? Uh yes, I work 24 hours a day. Why? Because I am a Mom. I am an alarm clock, a cook, a maid, a teacher, a therapist, a nanny, a nurse, a handyman, a security officer, a photographer, a counselor, a chauffeur, an ATM, a jungle gym & a comforter. I don’t get holidays, sick pay or days off. I work through the DAY &… NIGHT. I am on call at ALL hours. Re-Post if you are a proud Mom!!
What does being a Mommy mean to you?
Thanks for visiting!
