Imagine for a moment, that you are walking down a questionable street.  Fearful that you may encounter trouble, you quicken your pace.  Just then, you hear shots fired.  You run for cover, only to be thrown into a flashing car and read your rights.  Odds are, if you went to trial, they would have no evidence to convict you of a crime that you had no part in.

What about if you were on trial for being a Christian?  Would there be enough evidence to convict you?  Let’s hope, right!

Lastly, if you were on trial to prove that you loved your husband. . . what would the outcome be?  If those on the witness stand (your family, friends, acquaintances, co-workers, etc) could give an account of your love (or lack there of), what would they say?  

Do you cleave to him as if you were one flesh? Do you reverence him? Do you  honor him with your words and actions? Do you praise him in the streets? Do you give him a reason to look forward to come home at night? Do you give him reason to trust you with the tasks and duties of your day? Do you work hard, and avoid idleness and lazy behavior? Do you find out what your strengths are, and seek to help him and not harm? Do you have a giving heart, or are your greedy for your own gain? Do you speak wisdom, or are your words filled with viperous gossip? Do you smile at him, often? Do you show him kindness and tenderness? Do you stand up for your convictions, or do you entice evil behavior?   Do you provide him with a safe, and welcoming haven?   Do you speak words of affirmation, or constant negativity? Do you choose your words wisely, seasoned with grace, or are they nagging and bitter words? Do you give him reason to be proud of you?
