The word prompt for this week’s Five Minute Friday is NEW. Perfect!
Ready. Set. Go.
NEW LIFE!
I keep dreaming…of what he or she will-
look like.
smell like.
be like.
Carrying a baby in your womb changes you as a person. I wonder God’s purpose for allowing such a miracle to grow for 9 months within a mother’s tummy. Is it to change the growing baby or change the woman? I think both.
Even though I can picture that wonderful baby smell,
feel soft baby skin against my cheeks,
hear their little cooing,
{since I’ve birthed 2 other children}…
It is always so NEW! So special!
Looking forward to meeting our little blessing any day now. Stay tuned…
Thanks for visiting!

So excited for you!! What a wonderful way to describe new!
I’m looking forward to the big announcement, Traci. 🙂
Wow, stunningly beautiful. I love what you have written, and I hope and pray of the day, that I too get to experience this. May you be blessed for the rest of your pregnancy. Have a great weekend. Nics
Congratulations and how truly exciting!
I agree with you that God uses a baby to change the mother and the baby for good … ever expanding love… always good!
I thought for a minute you were showing us your new blessing. I am so excited to see this new blessing. how are you feeling
OH, I loved being pregnant! I know you are beautiful on the outside as well as in. What a blessed time. Enjoy it.
Perfect post today! So excited for see your new little one.
so excited for you and waiting on pins and needles to hear about your new blessing!
Precious post, SO excited for you =)
Beautiful!! My third baby is 10 months old now, and I can so relate to your thoughts! And even after 3 pregnancies the wonder is still there, maybe even mores than with the first!
What a beautiful post, Traci. So much to look forward to. I’m amazed at how much God teaches us through children. I don’t have any of my own, but I am learning so much just from hearing the hearts of women like you. Congratulations!
awwww, that’s so sweet!! seriously. my “baby” is almost 20 months old & I was thinking “I’m done.” … but you reminded me of SO MANY things a NEW life adds to a family … Praying you get to meet your new little one SOON!
Congratulations! How blessed you are 🙂
Oh, Traci, yes … always new. 🙂 “Is it to change the growing baby or change the woman?” What a wonderful question, and I think it’s both. Nothing in life has changed more more (aside from my salvation) than becoming a mom. 🙂
Nothing defines new like a newborn baby. Congratulations to you!
Loved your thoughts on pregnancy, especially “I wonder God’s purpose for allowing such a miracle to grow for 9 months within a mother’s tummy. Is it to change the growing baby or change the woman? I think both.” Such wonderful observation! Thanks!

I’m so excited for you! Your post pulled me here. I have 2 daughters – an 8mth old baby and a toddler. They both inspired and still inspire all the wonderful things u wrote about. CONGRATULATIONS!
