Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Listen.

His silence fills the earth; unspoken truth is spoken everywhere.

Look up.

God’s Word dashes across the skies.  There is not a moment when it is not heard.  From sunrise to sunset His power is shown.

Look up.


God’s Word warns us of imminent danger, and points us to fine treasure hidden beneath tender sheets of glass.

Look up.

You are my Rock, Oh Lord.  In You I put my trust.  I confess trying to walk my day out alone.  Without you.  As if I even could get very far or that my ways would be profitable…

I cry out to YOU for help.  You love my cry for help… it shows you that I need you, and Oh how I do!

I look up… Colossians 3:1-3

So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from His perspective. Your old life is dead. Your new life, which is your real life—even though invisible to spectators—is with Christ in God. He is your life. {Message Version}

  5. Traci, God was speaking to us yesterday at church about being still before Him. He tells us to be still because He knows that we get so busy that we forget to listen. But in the stillness we can more clearly hear Him, feel Him and see Him. I want to be still and listen for His voice. Great post!

  8. It’s one of those times that fear starts to gnaw around my heart and it seems the defense mech I’m having is just not deal with it or forget. *sigh* This was beautiful entry. ☺ Something to remind me. ☺
