Maybe you’d like to purchase one for the father of your kids?  What about getting one on behalf of some children whose Daddy is far away serving in our Military?
I also have a copy to give away this week!  It’s super easy… just comment by finishing this sentence:
“My favorite thing about the father of my children is…”
You can earn a second comment by simply viewing the FLIP BOOK HERE.
If your kids are older or out of the house, you can still enter!  We all know kids in our life (grandchildren, niece/nephews, etc) that would be blessed by it.

Oh, what a precious, precious book! I will definately be trying to get a copy one way or another! I have two girls, 4 and 6, who love their daddy beyond measure, and would adore reading this book, over and over!

My favorite thing about the father of my children, is the love and devotion he has for them. He works hard every day to provide for them, and give them a good life. Then he spends every second of his free time at night, spending time with them, to show them how much he loves them, and to help them grow according to God’s principals. I LOVE how much he loves our daughters and considers it his life goal, to show them how much they are worth, and that they will always have a daddy they can depend on. He takes extra time and makes extra effort to show them affection, so they won’t seek it in the first boy they come accross in life, like I did. I thank God for the father of my children, each and every day! 🙂

My favorite thing about the father of my children is…
he’s so kind and gentle with our daughter, never raising his voice to her. He has also recently had lap band surgery so he can have a healthier life for her and be able to play with her the way she needs him too.

My favorite thing about the father of my children is that he spends time with them doing things that they love to do! He is fair as a disciplinarian, he always considers their feelings as important and valid. They think that he is the best thing since “Pop Rocks”!

“My favorite thing about the father of my children is…
hearing him play with our daughter Lily when he comes home from work while I make dinner. And how he truly shows her God the Fathers love for her just like my Dad did before he passed away earlier this year. She is loved well by her Dad just like I was. I could not ask for anything more for her.

My favorite thing about the father of my children is his humbleness, gentleness, and servant’s heart. Unlike most men in this world that feel the need to be dominant and powerful, he lives like Jesus did, as a servant leader, ready to serve instead of being served.

My favorite thing about the father of my children is his ability to be firm and goofy all at the same time… to be loving but still discipline. To go all gooey when our little girl smiles at him, but still not let her walk all over him. He has a vision for our kids’ future, and he’s doing everything he can to make it happen. I’m so thankful for him!

My favorite thing about the father of my children, my husband, is how much he loves Jesus Christ and does what He says in the Bible about loving his wife (and children) as He loves the church. He is a godly example to our 2 little ones. I look forward to the future with him and our children.

    Would love this book!

My favorite thing about the father of my children is how hard he works for his family and the time he takes every day to play with them or race and wrestle. Something a daddy of a all boys do that a mommy like me just couldn’t!

This looks like a perfect addition to our library and a great gift for father’s day! I love it! I would like to enter….
My favorite thing about the father of my child, is the unconditional love he has for her. When she smiles at him their eyes meet and his heart melts. They fill with tears in awe and amazement that he is so blessed to be her father. They bond over football and racing, they watch movies together and take walks together. They are pals, buddies and love to laugh together and wrestle and play. They light each other up when they walk into the room and when he comes home she runs into his arms. He teaches her and is present with her. I never had a father around and he’s what I always wanted for my children. Someone to depend on and who loves everything about you, both good and bad. He’s patient and understanding. And lastly, I love that he dresses up with all her play jewelry and has his nails painted and even goes to work with nail polish on, just to see a smile on her face 🙂

    So many things!
But by far, my favorite thing about the father of my children is that he is always ready and willing to apologise to them!
Leading by example is one of his best attributes, and modelling this has meant that our girls are also quick to apologise to us and each other

  19. Larie Writes-Proverbs 27:19 says

My favorite thing about the father of my children is that he wants to be an active part of our children’s lives. He doesn’t view being a daddy as something he has to do or is expected to do. He loves being a daddy so much that within 5 minutes, (yes 5), after the birth of our third child, he said, “Awwww, you make me wanna have another one!” Mind you, I was still on the birthing table! lol

    smooches,
    Larie

My favorite thing about the father of my children is…
He is such a godly leader to them. He takes the time to play with his 3 girls and takes the time to teach and discipline them as well. He shows them love, compassion and lets them know that he might be the leader of our family, but God is his leader and he has to listen to God to lead the family. He reads from the bible every night at dinner and prays with them throughout the day. And lastly of course because he works so hard to provide for them!

“my favorite thing about the father of my children is…” his humility. He understands and recognizes that he is human and that he makes mistakes sometimes:) my favorite moments as a mom is watching James scoop one of the kids up and look them in the eyes and say “I’m sorry” if he needs too, or during certain times of correction he may choose to gently explain to them that this time “we are extending mercy.” These are beautiful opportunities that are divine gifts from God. James often recognizes these times and slows down in that moment, to show our children what the ‘ultimate Daddy’ looks like. James is one of the most amazing men to pass this gift on to our kids~ I’m the luckiest woman in the world (ok, I’m sure some would contest this:)- and i hope they do) because if you are married to a dad~ which i now am of 5~ makes him the most attractive, amazing man on the planet to me…and that’s all that really matters:)!!

a gentle breeze blows through fresh, new blooms.
Your time is fleeting, yet faithful,
a promise of beauty each spring.

Gifting petals that fall to the earth,
You are waiting for me to visit you.
Basking beneath warm shadows,
Deeply breathing in nature’s favorite perfume.

A legacy of faithful promise,
Graceful, elegant, familiar and kind.
As the sun streams through branches,
Your reflection twinkles and twirls,
Leaving your dance card upon my heart.

You whisper, come linger a little longer,
No need to be in such a rush.
Through storm clouds, torrential rain,
and those picture perfect days,
You continue your steady climb toward the heavens.

Your limbs grow stronger, your roots deeper still.
Your humble beauty speaks for itself.
No need to shout, nor beg for attention.
You hold the secrets of many who return year after year,
Who sit beneath your branches,
and find healing to bloom as well.
