Are You Weary?

Are you weary today, dear friend?  Do you feel like there is a lot of sowing going on in your life, without a lot of reaping?  God promises in His Word that we will reap the benefits of sowing good seed! 

Continue to persevere!  Swimmer Florence May Chadwick desired to break the record and swim from Catalina Isle to California.  After swimming 15 hours and 55 minutes in freezing cold water, dense fog, sharks, and other threatening circumstances, Chadwick gave up.  After getting into the rescue boat, she found out she was only half a mile from reaching her destination!  {BIG SIGH}  The thick fog blinded her view of the destination…
What’s blinding your view?  Are you ready to give up because you can’t see the destination or the fruit?  Don’t!  You may just be less than a mile away! 

Don’t forget to set your affection upon that which lasts for eternity…

  5. Funny how one day you can wake up and feel so optimistic and another day feel afraid. No matter which way I wake up as I spend time with God and meditate on His word I am so encourged and by the end of that quiet time wisdom dictates the remainder of the day.
