Our Date To Niagara Falls Canada

September 25, 2010 by Traci

Psalm 19:1-4
The heavens proclaim the glory of God.
The skies display his craftsmanship.
 Day after day they continue to speak;
night after night they make him known.
They speak without a sound or word;
      their voice is never heard.
Yet their message has gone throughout the earth,
and their words to all the world.

Crossing the Rainbow Bridge…
Just in case you get the urge to jump…
It was so windy and the mist clouded the camera lens:

200- Taking in God’s beautiful creation.
201- Having a best friend named Husband.
202- Being blessed with parents to watch our kids.
203- Having 2 days to spend with just best friend and reconnect.
204- Smiling and laughing together.
205- Being away from the kids, and still finding our hearts talking of them.
206- Walking hand in hand down the street.
207- Telling each other how thankful we are for the other.
208- Beautiful weather in the 80s.
209- Enjoying brunch together at Bob Evans and Cracker Barrel without the concern of feeding our own little baby birds first.
210- The joy of being away… yet the joy of returning to complete family.

I saw this post on someone’s side bar and had to come have a ‘look-see’!

I was so excited because, I have sat on the very wall you posed on, in front of the falls! I have been there!!!!! yes, yes, yes! I’m excited, can you tell LOL!

Why am I excited about having been there? Because I am Australia, and have lived here in Queensland, all my life. I had never been overseas until last year… and that was to PA, USA. Friends there took us up for the night and we stayed at the Raddison (I think it was), with views of the Falls from our window. It was a wonderful experience. I can say that I have stepped foot on Canadian soil! lol

I would have loved to venture further into this beautiful country, but time didn’t permit.

Enjoyed seeing your photos (reliving sweet memories of my own).. Bless you!

    WOW.
I’ve never been to Niagara and those photos you took are amazing. We have a great God who makes great waterfalls.
It was just amazing! Now I want to go.
The feeding baby birds part is so inconvenient when one is trying to enjoy a meal out. Nice that you got to be alone, baby bird-less. 🙂

Blushing with your delicate, rosy hue, a gentle b Blushing with your delicate, rosy hue,
a gentle breeze blows through fresh, new blooms.
Your time is fleeting, yet faithful,
a promise of beauty each spring.

Gifting petals that fall to the earth,
You are waiting for me to visit you.
Basking beneath warm shadows,
Deeply breathing in nature’s favorite perfume.

A legacy of faithful promise,
Graceful, elegant, familiar and kind.
As the sun streams through branches,
Your reflection twinkles and twirls,
Leaving your dance card upon my heart.

You whisper, come linger a little longer,
No need to be in such a rush.
Through storm clouds, torrential rain,
and those picture perfect days,
You continue your steady climb toward the heavens.

Your limbs grow stronger, your roots deeper still.
Your humble beauty speaks for itself.
No need to shout, nor beg for attention.
You hold the secrets of many who return year after year,
Who sit beneath your branches,
and find healing to bloom as well.
