I walk to the end of my driveway with anticipation… what will I get in the mail today? I’m full of smiles and hope-filled expectation.
As I return with political pamphlets, advertisements, bills, bills, and more bills… my countenance has changed a bit.
How many times do we give out junk mail to our friends? Junk mail of the spoken word. Now, where it hits home… our family! Those that live within our own four walls.
Home, according to its definition:
a. An environment offering security and happiness.
b. A valued place regarded as a refuge.
What words are we speaking today? Are they words of edification and hope? Or are they words without value, that downcast the soul’s person?
Ephesians 4:29 “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.”
BREATHE LIFE INTO SOMEONE’S SAILS TODAY!

Thank you for that reminder today. I was just speaking those words to my kids yesterday. They can be so mean to their siblings.
I like the new blog look!
Love the new header Traci!
Along with kindness, it’s nice to hand out hugs too!
Very true! Your blog header is nice and bright like those two pairs of eyes in the picture.
Have a blessed night!
So very true!
It is so easy to speak words that we intend not to with our family, too, whom we love. I pray that I can speak those words that would edify and bring my children to learn this as well. Thank you for your post! 😉
Great post!
BTW, I am loving your new blog header!
