August– Running My First 5K!
It’s THIS Saturday folks! Do you see me shaking in my running shoes! Believe me when I say I’m no runner! But I’ve built my time up and am now running 3 miles without stopping! Come back for racing details Saturday afternoon/evening!
That is…
if i haven’t passed out.
if i am still coherent.
if i can still talk. . . err type that is.
I may EVEN have pictures! It won’t be pretty… I will be a sweaty mess!

Thanks for visiting!

I am SO impressed!!!!!! I always say I’m going to run…somewhere…someday…for a long distance.
But then, I don’t.
Haha! Can’t wait to hear about it!
You can do it!!!! What fun, and you will stay in good shape! I am doing this too, the 12 new things. Mine for August is monthly meal menu/grocery buying and I have only the grocery list part left!
Congratulations on all of your hard work in preparation! I will be praying for you this Saturday! Can’t wait to hear how it goes!
That is awesome Traci! Good luck to you! I can’t wait to hear how it goes 🙂
You GO GIRL!!!! 🙂 Great job!!! I have always wanted to do that… Hey, do you have any tips for what to do with your kids while you run? Does someone watch them or do you have a jogging stroller? That is my main obstacle and I would love advice 🙂
YAY!!!! Can’t wait to hear all about it!

Wow! Bravo! Will be praying for ya! Thats amazing!
“You go girl” 🙂
Praying for your 5K this Saturday. Now if I could only get the gumption to run myself, we might be doing something!
CONGRATS AND GOOD LUCK!!!
Great Job – already. Crossing the finish line will be the icing on the cake! Even if you walk across, don’t push to hard that you can’t finish.
Once you do one – It won’t be your last.
Great job Traci. Can’t wait to hear your run.
You will love that feeling when you cross the finish line!!!
I loved my first 5K– I can’t wait to run another!!!!!
Have FUN!!!!
You can do it!!!
I ran my first 5K in May … now I’m working towards the 10K Turkey Trot!!
Woohoo!!! Good for you!
That’s very good of you!! I’ve started running two weeks ago, yeeey 🙂
Thanks for your sweet comment 🙂
I know you can do it!
Praying God’s blessings on you as you run.

Good luck! 🙂
Way to go on the running, I’m really excited for you.
You inspired me to make my own list – at least partial list. 🙂
Traci,
Congratulations (NOW) on your first 5K! You may not look pretty after it all, but you’ll sure feel fabulous. I’m getting ready for my first one (it’s been more than ten years since I last ran one) which will be in December. My six year old and I are running together and it will be her first.
Tip: Be sure to use the restroom before you run the race :-)!
How awesome, Traci!
You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!
Congrats on the 5K!! You’ll be addicted
I am so excited to hear how the 5K goes. I have only “speed walked” 5 K’s so I will live vicariously thru you.
You Go Girl! WHOO HOO!! The most important thing is that you’re DOING IT! 😀
