Winter can get you down in the dumps, for sure! Think Spring: warmer weather, new life, hope! Also, Spring means no more baggy sweaters to hide the flab behind! So get moving NOW!

We didn’t get overweight overnight. Each choice to indulge in empty calories led to where we are today. Start making healthy choices, every day, every minute. It will eventually lead to a healthier YOU!
Take out all the clothes that are way too baggy/frumpy looking. Bag em up and give them away! Only display stuff that fits you comfortably NOW. Hang up one “goal outfit” that you might have. A “next size down” motivation to keep in sight.

Get rid off ALL THAT JUNK that tempts you everyday! For your children and your hubby, you say? Still get rid of it. Start making healthy choices for YOU and THEM!
Believe it or not, this is one of the BIGGEST things that helps me lose weight (and the HARDEST). Your body needs time apart from food. Let it do its work… that grumbling in your tummy is a good thing… it’s doing what it is suppose to, burning that fat away!
If you fail to plan….. you plan to fail! Get organized! Plan your workout for the week on a calendar. What about your meals? Plan them ahead of time. Set Your Alarm Clock!
If your only time to exercise is in the morning (like me), set your alarm! Plan to get up. Think about it. Dream about it, if need be! Set out your clothes and shoes the night before. Set your coffee pot to brew first thing when you get up!

Just having this new outfit got me up this morning and excited! It’s the little things!

Memory Verse
Hebrews 12:1

Shower every morning, first thing! You will feel better. Also, dress your best (even around the house)… you will be amazed at how much better you feel, just from doing these simple things!
A short term goal I have is to lose 10 lbs in January. If I do this, I might get myself a cheap pair of pretty jewelry.
This helps curb cravings! Every time you want that piece of chocolate and cheesy chips, grab your tooth brush and scrub away!
It flushes out those nasty fat cells and keeps you full longer. Sick of cold water? Why not try heating up some water in the microwave… sounds weird, but it is surprisingly relaxing and good!
Bonus: If you haven’t yet, come check out the 6 month challenge over at Choose2LiveChooseHealth!

I love your post! I went shopping a few weeks ago and I was imagining what Stacy and Clinton from “What Not to Wear” would say. I didn’t just buy clothes that were cute, but that also looked good on me. I feel much better about myself. And you are right; prayer helps me get through my day. I have so much more strength when I pray than when I try to do it alone. Great post!
Love, love your post and your blog design is GREAT…..
Had a few hours to blog hop this afternoon and enjoyed yours so much….I have a $100.00 giveaway on my blog that ends tonight. Hope you will stop by.
Great tips! I’m going to write them down and refer to them often. I’m going to head over and check out the challenge now.
I love my newbalance shoes, but those are fabulous!!! Maybe I need an upgrade 🙂
