What is truth?
Is truth what’s good for you?
Is truth the absence of falsehood?
Is there absolute truth?
Truth apart from the Word of God is not truth at all. When my life is spinning circles around me, there is one thing that keeps me grounded; the Bible.
When life seems to throw me a curve ball, and knock me off balance and beg me to imagine up my own truth, I’m reminded that He is truth. Apart from Him, truth is irrelevant.
Are you struggling with life today? Are you trying to determine what is true and what is false? Take a moment, and retreat into a quite place of solitude, just you and your Bible.
Open up the pages, and let them breathe life into your weary soul and refresh the places and spaces of your wayward mind.
My Heavenly Father provides a sure foundation, when a midst the billows that rise and the waves that threaten to choke, I rise above, because He lifts me up and holds my head up high.
He calms the storm, and settles the murky questions. He brings clarity and peace… always, when I listen.
Truth is not creating up a new religion for yourself. Truth lifts up the One who is truth, and all that He is. It’s living like Jesus, and having our very countenance proclaim His great name.
