I love this online community. I have a passion for writing and edifying and encouraging one another.
In the past I’ve written everything from marriage and parenting, devotionals, health and beauty tips, recipes, hot topics, poetry, fashion and about photography.
Lately, God has been showing me, sometimes it is better to be quiet. To sit at Jesus’s feet and learn of Him first.
I’m not giving up blogging (but I’m sure every blogger has been tempted to just hit the delete button and go hide under a rock), but I’m not going to write unless I have something I really think God wants me to share.
Not to simply write a post to gain more followers, go viral on pinterest, or make myself or my family look better.
He must increase, and I must decrease, all for His glory and honor.
This has been my heartbeat all along, but as I grow in the Lord, the Holy Spirit is honing in on that heartbeat.
I want to be used to shine His love and His heartbeat, far above my own agenda, creativity, or passions. I want Him in charge of it all, far above my dreams and desires, comes His will for my life.
