Where A Trust Fall Goes Wrong

Trust falls go wrong when we fall backwards into our own arms.  No matter how hard we try to catch ourselves, the statistics will never be accurate.

Do you have dreams you want to accomplish?  Have you struggled because you keep failing yourself, over and over again?  I love this quote from the book TrueFaced:

“Think about it–God’s dreams for us reflect His heart.  If we are not maturing in sync with His heart, how would we distinguish others-centered dreams from self-centered dreams?  Many of us remain so wounded and preoccupied with our own stuff that we concoct our own tepid, cheap dreams and call them God’s.”

Maybe you have been circling this thing called dream-chasing because you’ve been falling back and trusting yourself to catch you?  The only way to have 100% success and triumph is to sync your heart with God and let Him write your story.

Some practical ways to start accomplishing God’s purpose for your life TODAY:

1) Let His ways be your ways.
2) Stop trust falling into your own arms.
3) Embrace His timing and ways.
4) Step out in faith and push back the fears.
5) Remember, your dreams are not your own.  They are to magnify God and Him alone.
