Can You Believe It’s True?
Wasn’t It Just January,
Wow This Year Just Flew!


It’s Thanksgiving Day,
The Turkey Is Basting,
The Trimmings Are Being Prepared,
But What Of Our Hearts?


Are They Stuffed With Goodness,
Are They Bubbling To Brim With Joy?
For Our Hearts Are What Matter,
It Is What God Smiles Down Upon.


Not The Cranberry Sauce,
The Stuffing, The Pumpkin Pie,
The Sweet Potato Souffle, For It Will All Settle.


Are We Speaking Words Of Grace,
Do Our Tongues Dance With The Father’s Love?


It’s Thanksgiving Day,
But It’s More Than Just A Day!
For God Wants A Thankful Heart,
All Throughout The Year.


May We Be Overwhelmed By God’s Goodness,
Not Just Because It’s The Day,
But Simply Because He Deserves Our Praise.


May Your Spirit Revive Us, Lord,
This Broken Mess Of Humanity, 
Only By Your Grace And Mercy,
AND ALL FOR YOUR GLORY!
