I walk around with eyes to see, but I don’t always. Seeing happens with or without eyes, for the heart has a larger sense of vision. Without vision a soul perishes. It folds inward until it is left sitting, crumpled in that lonely corner. Vision allows for blooming to occur. Instead of folding inward, its petals extend upward and outward, arms open and willing. Vulnerable. Ready to be a giver, rather than a receiver. But being a giver makes you a receiver.
I want to see with my heart, rather than my eyes. Each new day is a gift to me. If I choose to see, with heart wide open, I am in a position to receive blessings. If I’m a crumpled up mess in a corner somewhere, I receive nothing today. I’m preventing future and present blessings when I deny it.
Are you a crumpled piece of paper in a corner today or are your arms wide open, ready to give; ready to see? To receive.
For seeing is choosing to wait for the best; God’s best. Seeing has been sealed and kissed with a promise. Her name is hope.
Thanks for visiting!
