If you could be a little fly on my wall blog, just for a day. . . and get a peek into my home, what would you see?

You might see me making crafts with my kids, tackling a sink full of dishes (in bits and pieces, mind you), reading books to little ones, picking up toys, over and over, trying to remember where to put the milk (not in the cupboard, in the fridge…. Riiiight), making beds, tucking little ones in, exercising, selling some items on ebay, daydreaming, picking up my son’s sippy cup, again (he has figured out the “pick-up game”), doing mounds of laundry, texting a friend (my new-found hobby now that I have a full key pad on my phone), kissing my hubby, at the front door, putting away his muddy boots, after a long hard day at work, enjoying rocking a sick baby, and longing for sleep at the same time. . .

But what about the times

I lose my temper,

yell (oh so ugly),

want my own selfish way,

want to be served, instead of serve…

you see… we are all a LOT alike!

While blogging, there is the temptation to only show ourself, at our BEST. Like, putting our “church face on” to the blogging community.

Ever do it? Pictures can tell their own story, and can even portray lies. A false life. A life that we long for, but that is not our own to claim.

Please don’t get the wrong idea, I’m not claiming to be a fraud . . . all the time 🙂 I believe in encouraging others to do the right thing, by living the right way (the best way).

BUT, if your readers, could be a fly on YOUR blog, what would they see behind all the glitter and glamour? A charge for this year, for you and me…

Be real.

Speak truth.

Love with a big heart.

Remember, your readers may not see, the truth, but He does. Always.

So let us not grieve the Spirit, but pursue holiness. Be ye Holy, for He is Holy. Desire to give God your very best, this year. After all, He deserves it!
