I cannot thank everyone enough for all of your prayers and words of encouragement for my sister in law, Jessica!  If you don’t know what I’m talking about, catch up HERE.  Here is her latest report regarding Gabriel Zachary:

Jessica says, Today was my 26 week check-up with the specialist.  There was no bad news again this visit!  My cervix is borderline with the smallest number that is acceptable for this time in my pregnancy, but as with both of the girls, this seems to be the ‘normal’ for how I carry.  The baby is head down and engaged already (another similarity with both of the girls), so the doctor feels that this is the major component of the shortened cervix.  He did say that he thought since the hemorrhage had completely clotted off that the bleeding would have stopped completely by this time.  Since it hasn’t, he said that the blood is coming from the exposed vessels from where the placenta has torn away from the uterine wall.  As a result of this, I’m not gaining any new activities until the beginning of December.  Once we get through Thanksgiving, he’ll take a look at things then to see what can be added back to my routine.  Thankfully, I can still attend church once a week, and if necessary, drive myself to appointments.  These are both great blessings.  Gabriel has slowed down a bit in his growth which is not alarming as of this week.  He seemed perfectly happy in there although he did NOT want his picture taken!
