My sister was the one you would find nestled behind a mystery, romance novel; or better yet, in the kitchen with Mommy baking some warm, gooey bread.
Me?
You could find my sun-glistened curls bouncing in the wind! I loved being outside, (still do) crunching leaves under my warn sneaks, frolicking in the woods and kicking up puddles of creek-bed stream water into the brisk air. I was content to watch beaded water fall down blades of grass, smelling all four seasons roll in and out, never missing a beat.
I’d rather live life front and center than through a book.
But now… I love a good read! The practical, life-application kind. I love having my heart be stirred to action; a book that I can apply to my life in the here and now.
