The Magnolia tree has timber that is hard and heavy; all the while maintaining its delicate, white, fragrant flowers!
I am ever-endeavouring to be like the Magnolia…
strong in character and conviction,
firm in upholding truth,
all the while remaining grace-filled in the
meditations of my heart and the words that cross my lips;
that I may be a mere reflection of Jesus in all I do.
Ephesians 5:2 “And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.”
Pondering grace, truth and love today:
Just because one stands up for truth does not mean there is an absence of love and grace…
Just because one stands up for grace does not mean there is the presence of love and truth…
We need to be balanced in all things and bring everything before the Lord in prayer.
