Practical Thanksgiving Table Ideas

November 5, 2011 by Traci

Elevated cranberry spheres… um, hello!  Cut toothpicks in half and skewer one cranberry onto the end of it (without sticking it all the way through).  Poke cranberries into craft foam ball.  Place the balls on glass, silver, or mercury glass candlesticks.

Use Oranges and Creams… attach a name tag to a artificial piece of fruit for place setting.

Paint the person’s first initial on a pumpkin for their plate and add some berries around it.

Brown Paper Flower Tutorial– SO CUTE!

Add some nuts and acorns to candle jars.

Jennifer reminds us that we can shop our home and yard.  You don’t have to spend an arm and a leg to have a pretty plate setting.

Leaves with some ribbon add a simple, yet elegant touch.

Serve some holiday soup in these.

Fill some vases with berries, nuts, and leaves.  Using candles that spell out ‘giving thanks‘.

Incorporating seasonal fruits and veggies to display your guest’s names is so gorgeous.

Try these leaf prints…

For a softer look, try these Indian Cornhusk place settings (menu and leaf wreath place card).

Pomegranate and nuts in hurricane vases…

White pumpkins are my new FAV!  I adore this:

Cut out the center of some small pumpkins and add some tea light candles to them!  Add some purple for an elegant pop of color.

Dress up your pumpkin pie with these Pie Crust Cut Outs.

For a country/rustic appeal, add a simple burlap table runner.
