We went to visit my sweet grandfather yesterday. He lives in a home, where people don’t know their name, and confused-ones wander in hallway, pushing themselves with feet dangling below wheelchairs.
He left my sweet grandmother some years ago. He didn’t leave her by way of love, but trapped in his own body by the this awful disease.
A man, that once lit up the room with vibrant exuberance, now sits and stares. All day. Pure sadness.
I captured my sister with him and it expresses the essence of JOY.
