Instead of plopping your kids in front of their favorite movie yet again, why not buy the soundtrack and let their creative juices flow!  One of Riley’s favorite movies is Rapunzel.  Today I was in clean out the closets, get rid of clutter mode and I stumbled upon the soundtrack.  I stuck it in the cd player and they played and danced and dreamed and made forts and played dress up and … everything but sit in front of a square box.

I love seeing my children’s creativity come to life!  Sometimes {let’s be honest} it is easier to throw in a DVD or turn on Netflix, but the payback of seeing my children playing and having fun is so much greater!
