Contentious mean having an aggressive or fighting attitude. Belligerent often implies being actually at war or engaged in hostilities. Quarrelsome stresses an ill-natured readiness to fight without good cause. Contentious implies perverse and irritating fondness for arguing and quarreling.
Take a serious assessment of your behavior and attitude towards your own husband. Would any of these words describe you? EVER?

As Christians, more specifically Christian Wives, we are called to a life of continually examining ourselves before the Lord.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.
No one is perfect. . .
BUT:
We can continually seek the heart of God and desire to CHANGE…
FOR THE BETTER!
For HIS Glory.
So examine your own life today. Ask God to change your heart. Be a woman, wife, and child of God who seeks to create a home that is welcoming and peaceable.
