My Preconceived Ideas About Using Coupons:
1. Using Coupons is a thing of the past.
2. It isn’t worth using coupons, I will just end up getting stuff that I won’t need.
3. I’ll just end up spending more.
4. I didn’t know that you can double up on coupons (using one coupon per item/purchase)
5. It’s cheaper just to buy the store/generic brand
What I’ve Learned About Using Coupons:
1. Using Coupons is most definitely for today!
2. It is worth using coupons when you know what’s on sale, and use the most coupons for the best deal
(by doubling up using the same coupon).
3. I won’t end up spending more because I’m learning how to stock pile items with a longer shelf life.
4. At most stores, you can use a coupon for every item. Example:
COUPON: 1.00 off 4 pringles cans (X 4 COUPONS) – use those 4 coupons!
Pringles 1.25/can (5.00 pre-coupon price) (1.00- after-coupon price)
(I don’t believe that Walmart will do this. I know that Wegmans does) – They do have a limit on how many coupons you can use of the same item (14 I believe).
5. You can buy your favorite brand name items when you follow their sales!
6. Educate yourself on which stores double/triple coupons under a 1.00.
