What I Wore This Week

June 12, 2013 by Traci

I’ve been gone for awhile.  Super busy.  Life.  You get it, right?  I only have one outfit to share this week and some thrift store/clearance finds.  I’ll hopefully be back next week with more outfits to share.  I’ve missed all my fashion-friends here!

Blue short cardigan: Old Navy Clearance
Blue tank: Old Navy Clearance
Jean Cropped Pants: Old Navy
Brown Shoes: Target
Necklace: Fashion Bug

Saturday I was off to grocery shop and do some thrift shopping by myself!  I was super excited!  Anytime I’m by myself in the car I turn up the music really loud and sing like I’m Carrie Underwood.  I’m so not… it’s sad really.

Question for you:

What do you do when you are alone in your car?  Do you enjoy the silence or do you turn up the music and sing???

Great post Traci! Love how the necklaces match your outfits so perfectly. Great finds! I do wonder what people are thinking when they see me going down the road singing my heart out. LOVE it! =) Glad to know I’m not alone doing that.

Ha! I just bought that same sweater in a different color at Old Navy and was trying to figure out how to wear it. Looks cute! Love the necklace…I think that’s what I’m missing…some accessories!

I LOVE your necklaces! Turquoise is a really good color on you. And those sandals with the flower detail is so feminine 🙂

And I can not survive in silence. Lol I’ll go crazy and inevitably have to make up a song or ramble until the car ride is over. Car karaoke for me!!

    XOXOXO

I love all your necklaces. And I love driving alone. Sometimes I keep it quiet and just think. Other times I turn the radio up and SING! 🙂

    You’ve got some beautiful things!

It depends on my mood…sometimes it’s absolute silence, other times music.

Hi Traci! Stripes are my favorite pattern and blue is my favorite color, so I’m loving your cardigan! I tend to enjoy the silence when I’m driving alone… my twin girls are quite the chatterboxes/singers so I appreciate quiet moments when I can find them. 🙂 Hope you’re having a great week!

Yay for thrifting! Nice haul. You look fabulous and comfortable.

I crank the music too when I’m by myself or put on a audio book.

Blushing with your delicate, rosy hue, a gentle b Blushing with your delicate, rosy hue,
a gentle breeze blows through fresh, new blooms.
Your time is fleeting, yet faithful,
a promise of beauty each spring.

Gifting petals that fall to the earth,
You are waiting for me to visit you.
Basking beneath warm shadows,
Deeply breathing in nature’s favorite perfume.

A legacy of faithful promise,
Graceful, elegant, familiar and kind.
As the sun streams through branches,
Your reflection twinkles and twirls,
Leaving your dance card upon my heart.

You whisper, come linger a little longer,
No need to be in such a rush.
Through storm clouds, torrential rain,
and those picture perfect days,
You continue your steady climb toward the heavens.

Your limbs grow stronger, your roots deeper still.
Your humble beauty speaks for itself.
No need to shout, nor beg for attention.
You hold the secrets of many who return year after year,
Who sit beneath your branches,
and find healing to bloom as well.
