My Daily Gifts… Still Counting

August 22, 2010 by Traci

holy experience

one.seventy.three  –  one.ninety.nine

Special friends that I grew up with getting together.

All of our babies together in one photo.

The mommy’s trying to control the chaos!

My little boy’s hand grasping the hard working elderly kind.

I’m just sure some wisdom is passed through such a tender transfer.

Son getting over illness and playing outdoors.

Smiles from ear to ear.

Special Mommy-son alone time.

Hugs.

Cheek to cheek lingered goodness.

Brand new family necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.

Wearing it and thanking God for my beautiful family.

My sleeping beauty on the couch dreaming of her prince.

God’s beautiful creation in form of Pianies.

Dad laughing with his little boy.

Duck in green pond.

Our little girl playing dress up, dreaming of being a famous ballerina.

Barns.  Love them.  Especially the old, warn ones.

Homemade corn popping on stove.

Sharing a bowl of popped-goodness with hubby on the couch.

As much as I dislike bees, I’m thanking God for them.

Chalk.

Little one’s playing with it and watching their creative wheels turn.

Watching Summer come to a close.

Welcoming the the refreshing hug of Autumn.

Dreaming of going to the Maya Riviera with just Hubby in December.

Blushing with your delicate, rosy hue, a gentle b Blushing with your delicate, rosy hue,
a gentle breeze blows through fresh, new blooms.
Your time is fleeting, yet faithful,
a promise of beauty each spring.

Gifting petals that fall to the earth,
You are waiting for me to visit you.
Basking beneath warm shadows,
Deeply breathing in nature’s favorite perfume.

A legacy of faithful promise,
Graceful, elegant, familiar and kind.
As the sun streams through branches,
Your reflection twinkles and twirls,
Leaving your dance card upon my heart.

You whisper, come linger a little longer,
No need to be in such a rush.
Through storm clouds, torrential rain,
and those picture perfect days,
You continue your steady climb toward the heavens.

Your limbs grow stronger, your roots deeper still.
Your humble beauty speaks for itself.
No need to shout, nor beg for attention.
You hold the secrets of many who return year after year,
Who sit beneath your branches,
and find healing to bloom as well.
