Wow! How awesome! I’m afraid I won’t be any help, though – with the exception of Strawberry SHortcake, I love them all! The crayons are amazing; I love the beach idea; the tea party is also way cool! Good luck figuring it out! 🙂

I think the strawberry shortcake one is the cutest, but does she know who that is? Not sure what ‘them kids’ like these days, don’t have kids of my own!

    August 26, 2010 at 7:19 pm

I love the crayons. But they would all be wonderful, good luck

I vote for the tea party. I love the cakes. I love doing thematic parties too!

Ha, we all have a different opinion. I love the purse! My daughter is turning 5 next week and she is all ABOUT girly stuff. :o)

Traci. I love them all, but think that Strawberry Shortcake is def the cutest and the single serving cupcakes could feed the guests and the big Strawberry Shortcake can be enjoyed by your family. :o)

HMMM or the little purse tea party. :o)

Grammie loves the purse or the flip flops…too cute!
I think I may like the flip flops the best.

I love the crayons. You can do an artist theme with loot bags that have canvas and paint (from the dollar store). The kids could paint, draw and other art things. Kids love to murals. Have a large butcher sheet taped up and have crayons and markers available. Have fun.

I like number 2 and 3… But my favorite is #3 Beach Theme. I know my 4 year old would love this:) Love all the pink on it. Such a great cake.

I love the Ice Cream Theme! I would love to do that for my daughter! Payton wants a ” Junie B. Jones” Birthday party… Have any suggestions for that??? Thank you again for all your wonderful posts. I have not been commenting lately but I have been reading!

I vote for the beach theme! Lot’s you can do with that.

  13. Crystal says

I love the beach one (and all of them actually!). I am trying to decide on my daughter’s party too (though hers isn’t until January and she will be 5). I am actually leaning towards a pool or beach party. I mean normally a January birthday it will be cold for in the place we prefer to live, so while we are on a tropical island I figure we need to take advantage of that!!
Your carosuel cake was so cute! And I actually did that same type of castle cake for my daughter’s last party- though our was Cinderella’s castle so it was blue with some purple. Very cute!!

    August 26, 2010 at 8:49 pm

Oh, for me I’d go with the beach theme! I love the tea party theme. My daughter’s favorite parties were the extravagant tea parties with dress up and real tea in tea cups. She had one for her 7th and 8th birthdays.

    August 26, 2010 at 9:25 pm

I like the each theme and the purse. You are so clever. I know it is a labor of love. I always like doing the fancy cakes….they are fun.

    August 26, 2010 at 9:29 pm

I’d choose one that she wouldn’t choose later on when she’s older…like the crayons or ice cream cone. They are all adorable, so you can’t really lose. Enjoy the cuteness and simplicity of her age while you can!

I like the beach theme and the purse. You are so clever. I always liked to do the Wilton cakes for the boys…soccer balls and all. Have fun..labor of love…I know.

Beach parties are awesome for summer bdays, but October… i dont know 🙂 Id say Strawberry Shortcake would be fun at this age. Or purses.

The tea party gets my vote! Or the Strawberry Shortcake. My Goose is 3&1/2 and has discoverd that “Berry World” (grin) Good Luck on the decision. From the looks of Bdays Past You will ROCK whichever theme you pick!!
    Happy Thursday

    Your soon-to-be-four-year-old is sooo adorable!

All those cakes look pretty and delicious. They’re cute, especially those sandals. But, hey, it’s not my birthday… 🙂

My soon-to-be-four daughter (turning 4 this year, too), upon seeing those cakes, shouted STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE!!!

A beach party in October would be FUN! My bday is in October and I would have loved that as a child. I always did wish I could have a waterpark party growing up. 🙂

You are an awesome mom! I love last year’s theme. Fabulous!!!!!

I like the beach theme but… you could do some really cool stuff with the purse. Like a spa party and paint their nails.

    August 27, 2010 at 6:55 am

Wow! Love her bday parties! 😀 They look like fun! I love the purse/tea cup or the beach party. I did a beach party for my daughter when she was 4, I think. 😀

    Have a blessed day!

I think the beach theme could be lots of fun – you could have those cool palm tree balloons, etc. and shells /sand / candles center pieces! The sandle cake is just A-DORABLE too! My second fave is the tea party one 🙂

  33. Christy B says

    August 27, 2010 at 9:01 am

I asked the girls – Sydney likes all of them but the beach and tea party the best. Michaela was dead set on the ice cream parlor party and she was excited about possibly making her own ice cream sundae. Now that I picture that it does sound REALLY cute!

  34. Michelle G says

    August 27, 2010 at 9:27 am

OH the crayons!!!! The theme could be all types of coloring! They could color white t-shirts with permanent paint pens…there could be all sorts of “art stations” set up around the room – I LOVE IT! (and crayons are still cool at 4…by five they may not be. (sigh))
    That’s my vote 🙂

Wow girl, you got some amazin’ decoratin’ skills!! As long as it’s pink, I think your kiddo will be happy. But my personal faves are the cute purse and the sandals. Just can’t decide which one! 🙂

For her age, I would have to vote for the Tea Party Purse. I think it would be so cute to have a Tea Party theme! Have fun, they grow up so fast. Im planning my babies 9th Birthday, she wants a sleep over!

a gentle breeze blows through fresh, new blooms.
Your time is fleeting, yet faithful,
a promise of beauty each spring.

Gifting petals that fall to the earth,
You are waiting for me to visit you.
Basking beneath warm shadows,
Deeply breathing in nature’s favorite perfume.

A legacy of faithful promise,
Graceful, elegant, familiar and kind.
As the sun streams through branches,
Your reflection twinkles and twirls,
Leaving your dance card upon my heart.

You whisper, come linger a little longer,
No need to be in such a rush.
Through storm clouds, torrential rain,
and those picture perfect days,
You continue your steady climb toward the heavens.

Your limbs grow stronger, your roots deeper still.
Your humble beauty speaks for itself.
No need to shout, nor beg for attention.
You hold the secrets of many who return year after year,
Who sit beneath your branches,
and find healing to bloom as well.
