The Colors Of Life

July 26, 2010 by Traci

Life.  It’s full of vibrant color.  God is so wonderful like that.  Make some time to breathe in deep breaths of beauty all around you.  Find some fantastic new colors, smell glorious scents, listen to the sounds of waves crashing, and  little children laughing.
Touch…
your family,
your world…
for Christ.

(Photos all taken by myself.  All from a Kodak Point And Shoot Camera)

Have you been noticing the colors?  If not, take your life-lens off black/white and look through new eyes!  He is waiting to show you great and mighty things!

Zephaniah 3:17
The LORD your God is with you,
       He is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
he will quiet you with his love,
he will rejoice over you with singing.

I don’t have a botton, though you are the first to ask me if I did. *smile* I hope you enjoy checking out my thoughts and what we are up to. Have a great day growing in God. I love those pictures! The colors are so amazing that it’s hard to believe they are from a point and shoot Kodak. Thanks for sharing them. I think my favorites are of the fields and harvesting.

These photos are beautiful! I envy your photography skills – I’m trying to capture that kind of vivid colour with our expensive digital camera. Your blog is so where my heart is right now – trying to open my eyes to see beauty and joy in the world around me. I love it.

    I loved your post.
Thanks for reminding me about God’s colourful creation. So often I tell my daughter that doesn’t go with that and she gives me an example from nature where God has teamed those colours together.
The little group of children standing in the rain seems to have a story to tell.

Blushing with your delicate, rosy hue, a gentle b Blushing with your delicate, rosy hue,
a gentle breeze blows through fresh, new blooms.
Your time is fleeting, yet faithful,
a promise of beauty each spring.

Gifting petals that fall to the earth,
You are waiting for me to visit you.
Basking beneath warm shadows,
Deeply breathing in nature’s favorite perfume.

A legacy of faithful promise,
Graceful, elegant, familiar and kind.
As the sun streams through branches,
Your reflection twinkles and twirls,
Leaving your dance card upon my heart.

You whisper, come linger a little longer,
No need to be in such a rush.
Through storm clouds, torrential rain,
and those picture perfect days,
You continue your steady climb toward the heavens.

Your limbs grow stronger, your roots deeper still.
Your humble beauty speaks for itself.
No need to shout, nor beg for attention.
You hold the secrets of many who return year after year,
Who sit beneath your branches,
and find healing to bloom as well.
