Day after day she sat on those eggs. With the warmth of her broad arms, she feathers her nest. Those four tiny, blue eggs are on all of our minds each morning (the children and I). With much excitement we climb up the tree and peer down. Did they hatch today? Each day one little egg would hatch and each new day it was just as exciting as the one before.
This thing called life is a miraculous adventure! Take a look at our journey!

Amazing journey. Birth is a miracle. If God cares for the tiny new-born birds, even more does He care for us.

What wonderful photos, and such a great experience for your kids to see the baby birds being born! We’d had a pair of robins nesting in the weeping cherry tree in front of our house. Unfortunately, one of their babies didn’t make it. I didn’t want my son to see its broken little body but was too late to hide it from him. I suppose, in a way, that’s something kids need to learn, too: life is fragile and oh so precious.

That’s incredible, Traci! Not that many get to take pictures of the entire process! Truly something for your kids to remember as they get older:)
