I Want…
I want my pre-pregnancy body back.
I want to be able to reach my toes in order to dissect beautify them.
I want a new camera, editing program, and be able to take a photography class.
I want obedient children.
I want to live for the eternal, not the temporal.
I want to feel organized and accomplished.
I want my friends and family to be healthy.
I want…
I want…
I want…
What does He say to me?
Have a merry heart; you will be beautiful.
Better is a little if you are walking in righteousness.
Don’t be lazy. Work hard and you will be satisfied.
Keep your life free from the love of money and things.
“I’ve found the recipe for being happy whether full or hungry, hands full or hands empty. Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am.”-Phil 4:11

Contentment-why is it so easy to lose? Maybe because there is so much other clutter in our lives.
I know that is true for me!
You ARE beautiful whether pregnant or not! Keep the faith, Traci!

Eyes on Jesus, content in all circumstances, for He is my strength. I want what He wants. More of Him and less of me.

Thank you for your post today, it reminded me how easy it is to want more and still not be satisfied.
I thought this pregnancy was teaching me patience, but no, it is contentment that I needed to grasp.
Contentment and appreciation and care for what we DO have.
God bless you!

After struggling with this a lot in the past…God has brought me to a place of true contentment with where I am in my life right now…growing in Him and getting excited about the journey that He has in store for my life.
Phil 4:11 is one of my life verses right now!
When He is enough in times of want and of plenty then we know the deepest joy of all.
