I love this, cuz I love my flops too! BUT, I also love boots and being able to wear them so I guess I sorta alternate between the two. I grew up in the north and remember wearing socks with the flops (fashion fau paux, I know) but since I don’t live in super cold weather anymore, I feel like I get the best of both worlds. You go on and wear your flops!!!
(do you like toe socks? then u can wear them with the flops around the house or something) hehehe
I can’t wear flip flops because I can’t STAND the feeling of that little widget between my toes. Drives me NUTS! I can only wear sandals because of that.
I also wear socks around the house to keep my feet warm … I get REALLY cold toes if I don’t, even though we have a lot of (stained) carpet throughout. 🙂
I LOVE flip-flops! Funny thing though- I’m a northern girl who now lives in the south… I really don’t miss the cold though- ha! and I am happy to wear flip-flops all year round 🙂
Ok so I completely relate!!! I live in my flip flops! BUT I’m now a northern girl living in a southern world! I can wear them almost all year long…sorry, that sounds a bit like I’m rubbing it in : )
Well, I’m in the south and its always hot!!! Even in the winter…lol But my problem is that I love boots! Thanks so much for following my blog. And your page is just adorable!!
It’s hysterical, but I am truly 100% a country girl living moments away from the Big Apple….(Manhattan to be exact). Everyone walks around with their designer clothes and purses and shoes. And here’s little ol me sporting my flip flops in November. I get the oddest looks sometimes, but I don’t care. You can take the girl out of the country, but can’t take the country out of the girl.
Thank you for your sweet, sweet comment on my blog! I’m glad you stumbled upon it as well because it led me to yours 🙂 LOVE LOVE LOVE your blog! I am flip flop wearin’ girl too, but thankfully I live in the south where my toes don’t get too cold! What a cute post! Enjoy the weekend!
Tracy, my daughter’s answer is toe socks. Year ’round. She stocks up in the fall and at Christmas, and when the weather is chilly, it’s toe socks and flip flops.

I’m confess. I’m a sox-with-flip-flops kinna girl. 🙂 The sandals don’t get packed away until after Thanksgiving.

Yep. I’m a flip flopper. I hate when the snow gets here and I can’t wear them any longer.

Hmmm…I like my sandals, but I’m a northerner, born and bred! I’m waiting for the weather to chill down so I can wear my coats and scarves!! LOL!

I love flip flops! I retired them, but the warm days have been back this month in PA, so I had to dig them out of my closet!

I more of a barefoot girl, so I know how you feel. Thankfully, I don’t live too far north.
