We sat and watched as the kids splashed and splashed for hours. I sat in my chair and she in hers; the Great Grandma. I asked her, “how does it feel to watch your kids – kids – kids play?” She sighed a deep, contented “wonderful.”
A lake lot passed down through generations. So many memories and so many new ones to be made. The simple life… I’m thankful for this little place on Seneca Lake.
Happy Fourth Of July!

What great photos! Looks like you had a great time. How sweet you got to spend time with a grandma making memories. I just LOVE Grant’s curly hair….sooo cute! I attended the largest parade in our county – this was the 50th year…and was begun by one of my mom’s friends when I was a little girl. She had kids decorate their bikes back then…and some of those ‘kids’ rode their bikes in the parade yesterday. It’s always great catching up to friends from long ago. =)
