When your days seem long, and your nights seem short, and your patience seems low, and your energy seems lacking, and you are half tempted to drug your kid so they sleep through the night, and your life seems mundane, and your training seems repetitive, and your hair looks frazzled, and you don’t have time for yourself, and your wardrobe seems drab, and you’re sick of being needed, and you wonder if it is all worth it…
It is. It is. It is.
You are raising a future man. You are raising a future lady. You are raising a future child of the King of Kings. Your job is so important. You are appreciated. You are loved. You are amazing!
Though you can’t see past the runny noses, crumbs, and crying babies, you are being faithful and will one day see the fruit of it!
My friend Danielle was at a restaurant with her family the other night when an older gentleman noticed what a beautiful and well behaved family she had. He was so touched that he paid for their whole meal!
Sometimes when we are in the thick of parenthood we don’t see the fruit until one day someone else notices, and is so moved that they pay for your meal.
May God be glorified in your weary days and nights, sweet Mama. You will see the fruit of it… keep pressing on!
Galatians 6:9
“And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Thanks for visiting!

Thank you! I needed to hear this today. I’ve been sick for months, probably years, and some days, like today, I want to quit working and trying. I need to be reminded of this OFTEN!

I am so looking forward to that day…but for now, I’m doing my best to be faithful! 🙂
