Blank page staring back at me.
Heart full, wanting to write.
Not knowing how to express it all;
So i wait.
Blank page staring back at me.
Mind racing with no place to start;
So i wait.
Blank page staring back at me.
He gently whispers in my ear, my heart.
How can you write if you have not met with me,
the writer of your soul,
the giver of your breath,
the maker and very essence of your passion and desire?
I hear Him this morning through my blank page.
Warm tears roll down my cheeks.
Yes Lord, I hear you.
I need your filling before I can be emptied out on blank pages.
You are a blank page that He longs to write upon. Don’t forget to meet with the author of your soul.
Psalm 63:1-8
1 O God, you are my God;
I earnestly search for you.
My soul thirsts for you;
my whole body longs for you
in this parched and weary land
where there is no water.
2 I have seen you in your sanctuary
and gazed upon your power and glory.
3 Your unfailing love is better than life itself;
how I praise you!
4 I will praise you as long as I live,
lifting up my hands to you in prayer.
5 You satisfy me more than the richest feast.
I will praise you with songs of joy.
6 I lie awake thinking of you,
meditating on you through the night.
7 Because you are my helper,
I sing for joy in the shadow of your wings.
8 I cling to you;
your strong right hand holds me securely.

Dear Traci,
your post brought tears to my eyes this morning. Letting God write out story, letting His pen write and dictate our steps, what a beautiful things, why oh why we often try to write it, instead of letting Him do it, the one Who does it so perfectly.
“all the days of my life are written before me, before one came to be” somewhere in psalm 139…. should memorize me verses location better hehe! too lazy to grab my bible now
Much love
Renee

Traci, this was so beautiful and I could SO relate to it… I’ve been in a dry place myself. Loved the Psalm.. one thing we can always depend upon is that God will come after us in the wilderness we’ve wandered into and with loving arms take us back home where we belong!
Hugs for you and baby!
