John 3:30
He must increase,
but I must decrease.
When others see you, does CHRIST shine
so bright that all they can see is Him?
so bright that all they can see is Him?
Does the light of His glory cause you to be,
but a shadow, in comparison?
Thanks for visiting!

beautiful! and yes it’s something we should all try to achieve
Reminds me of something I read a while ago about the sermon on the mount, we are call to be salt and light, salt have the propriety of making you thirsty if you take some, and the best way to quench your thirst is to drink water.
So if we are to be like salt we should be making people around us thirsty. thirsty, Jesus is the living water, we ought to make people that we come in contact with thirsty for the Living water!!!
I say go on and be salty 🙂
Very nice post btw,

Recently found your blog and am thoroughly enjoying it!!
This post reminds me of one of my favorite quotes.
“Live in such a way that those who know you but don’t know God will come to know God because they know you.”
Yes, this is my prayer also. So much more of Him, so much less of me…

Me too— this is my heart’s desire. It can be so hard sometimes not to crave attention or affection or adoration from those around us (hubby, kids, friends work!) but praying hard to remember that all that is given to me by my Father who is the ONLY one who can truly fill me.
Love you!
