A gift is meant to be unwrapped. Life can happen. Just happen. Before we know it, our kids will be grown, and the nest will be empty. Are you unwrapping life, or keeping its ribbon neatly pressed? Pull the string; life is meant to be opened. You can open gifts each and every day. I need to remind myself to stop gazing at the box, and pull that ribbon. I love to watch the bow unravel and fall to the ground in a heaping swirl. It’s in that moment, I catch a glimpse of what was once hidden.
Today, I’m unwrapping Summer lake days over at Chatting At The Sky.
