Adoption! Have you ever considered it? I haven’t. Yet, that is. But there are so many wonderful children in need of a good home.
She is one of my very first blogging friends. We dream of living next door to one another, sharing decorating and cooking secrets, and going for long walks and runs together. We have so much in common! Except one thing…
I am a Mommy, and she is not. (YET!) She longs to be one! Read about God’s call in her life to adopt, here. Oh what a wonderful Mommy she will be some day.
Tricia Keierleber has a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a focus on Child Development. Tricia and her husband, Paul, live in Rosenberg, Texas.
She is kind, thoughtful, honest, and loves the Lord Jesus, with all of her heart. It is her heart’s desire to please and obey Him in everything. Does it make her less of a person because she has not birthed any of her own children yet? No way! She is complete in Christ!
God has closed the door for her and her husband to have children of their own at this time. Lord willing, in the very near future, they will be completing the process of fostering 2 children. God has used Tricia to write a children’s book about adoption.
all you have to do is leave 1 comment! Just 1. Not 10, just 1! Woo hoo.
Go follow Tricia’s Book Blog, here, and “like” Ordinary Inspirations on facebook. Then just leave a comment saying that you did those 2 things, below.
Even if you have never considered adoption, this is a GREAT book to win/buy. My 3 1/2 year old daughter asks me to read this book to her ALL the time. She says, “I’m so glad you’re my Mommy!” It also is a great opportunity to discuss adoption with your children, and allow them to be sensitive to other adopted children.
Are you a grandmother or aunt? Give this adorable book as a gift to your granddaughter or niece!
My favorite quote in the whole book is the last one:
