Welcome to Ordinary Inspirations. I’m just a normal woman who loves her chocolate, chips, and romantic comedies. I recently lost 45 pounds and you can follow my journey here. I cry at sappy Hallmark movies, I dance to musical cards at the grocery store, and I hate to dust.
I’m a curly-headed dreamer who loves my Savior Jesus, adores my best friend called Hubby, and cherishes (most days, te hee) my three children. I never knew how much I would love being at home full time with my kiddos, but I do! What a privilege and high calling from the Lord!
In high school I would hide behind science and math classes to avoid any part of reading and writing. The irony of it? Now I love to read and write and I do most of it here with this silly thing called a blog.
I love to take pictures, bake yummy things, and make my home cozy and inviting. I’m a tom-boy at heart turned HGTV junkie!
It is my desire to glorify God through encouraging and edifying other women. My prayer is that from reading this blog you will be lifted up and it will motivate you to love God, your spouse and children that much more.
I dabble in blog design so if you are looking for a reasonable price, check out my design site over here.
If you are new here, please take a moment to connect with me.

I don’t know if I’m crazy, but I don’t see a place to comment on recent posts. I really just wanted to say hello and that I stopped by. 🙂

Traci! I love the music behind your post! “Your love is Extravagant…” I am wondering who the artist is & the title of the song? So beautiful & TRUE! My daughter just tried your Chili recipe & says it’s a keeper. She forwarded your post & so I thought I’d stop by tonight to say hi to a sister in Christ. I too love my Savior. I’m a little further down the road on my journey as far as the season of life I’m in, but just want to say it’s refreshing to know there are young moms out there who think of raising their family as a “high calling”. God bless you & strengthen you, and may your life bear fruit in abundance for your joy, as a legacy for your children, & ultimately & most of all for God’s glory & good pleasure.

Okay, I had to laugh at your email address! For many years (eons it seems), I’ve called myself “Curly” sometimes unconsciously 🙂 When I began my first online journal, I named it “Curly’s Notes”. Of course my hair isn’t a beautiful tight curl like yours; rather mine has morphed into some form of frizz, lol. It was destiny that I clicked on your blog site!

Traci, I “accidentally” found your blog through a Pinterest pin a friend posted about marriage. Love what you’re doing. Love your blog design work too. I checked out some of the sites you helped design. I wrote one of those movies that aired on Hallmark. 🙂 I hope I didn’t make you cry. (I’m purplepenworks on Pinterest & purplepenworks.com for my movie stuff.)
