I hate it!
I want to squash it like a bug;
Rid it from my soul.
Wash and scrub it off of me, waiving a final farewell
as it swishes down into a sudsy drain of oblivion!
This topic has been on my mind (or I should say my heart) for quite some time. Stay – tuned. I’m going to start a series on it; mainly for my benefit, and hopefully yours too. Meet back here every Thursday if YOU (like me) struggle with any form of FEAR in YOUR life!
Some questions:
1. What do you struggle with the most, regarding FEAR?
2. What would you like to walk away with after this 4- part series?
3. Do you want to be part of this series with me? Write a small post answering the 2 quesitons above. Add button below to post so others can join in. (To add button, just copy the code under the button and insert it into the Html part of your post).
4. PLEASE comment below with a link to your post.

FEAR… another horrible four letter word!
to answer the two questions from above.
#1- The fear of raising my kids alone.
– That my kids won’t grow up and want to serve the Lord.
– That we won’t have the finances to cover our bills, as the economy changes and the rate of pay doesn’t compensate for those changes.
Jen Napoli ( Happy mamma of 3 and 1 to be…)
#2- Knowing that I am not alone and that it is much harder to let go and give it all to God!!!
-The confidence and the strength to do just that.
– A peace that will comfort my OCD with having to feel like I have to do it all on my own.

Just read Fearless by Max Lucado yesterday. A gift to be reminded of where to put fear. Into the arms of One who won over fear. Because of love.

GREAT TOPIC HONEY!
My fears are of the unknown future, fearing something bad will happen to my loved ones.
I need to most learn that: FEAR NEVER COMES FROM GOD. That is what I keep forgetting.
Love you,
Marmie

Hey Traci…thanks so much for stopping by….yes, I have suffered thru many fears over the years….and since 3 of my kids aren’t walking w/the Lord, I could have a fear abt that and where they’ll end up…but I’ve learned to give that over to the Lord….I think my worse fear is lack of control…and what happens when I don’t have control…I also fear having severe loss over my physical abilities as I get older and the fear of altzheimers..after I saw my grandma live w/it as she grew old and now my own mother has dementia…..maybe it’s the fear of the negative side effects opf growing old!

Hi Traci,
Great subject! I’ll follow the series. My own struggle is fear of rejection, I’ve battled with that my whole life.
Don’t forget to stop by tonight and play the game!
